Twitch
is primarily known as a platform for live streams and chat, and its main focus
is usually on streaming content and text chat. However, since the inception of
Twitch, features such as video conferencing have also started to be developed
due to the development and expansion of the platform, especially after the
COVID-19 pandemic. Twitch offers its own streaming software called "Twitch
Studio". This software allows publishers to edit and manage their own
publications. In addition, with Twitch Studio, it becomes possible to make
video calls over Twitch and broadcast live with the camera. However, video
conferencing capabilities on Twitch are still limited, and the platform's
primary focus is live streams and chat. If you need more extensive video
conferencing or video conferencing, it may be more appropriate to use platforms
or services that are more focused on this area (such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams,
Google Meet).
